{"id":35,"date":"2015-02-04T03:04:43","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T11:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/?page_id=35"},"modified":"2015-07-09T06:05:48","modified_gmt":"2015-07-09T13:05:48","slug":"building-your-first-steeple-course-hurdle-settings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/?page_id=35","title":{"rendered":"Building Your First Steeple Course &#8211; Hurdle Settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just like each course in a sim has to have a unique\u00a0<strong>Course ID<\/strong>, each hurdle in a course has to have its own unique\u00a0<strong>Hurdle ID<\/strong>. <strong>Hurdle IDs<\/strong> are a little more rigid than\u00a0<strong>Course IDs<\/strong>. \u00a0They\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>must<\/strong><\/span> start at 1 and be numbered sequentially in order for them to function properly.<\/p>\n<p>The hurdles themselves have a configuration menu, but if you&#8217;ve got 40 hurdles that&#8217;s a lot of clicking.<\/p>\n<p>The Course Builder HUD can set the\u00a0<strong>Hurdle ID<\/strong> for you automatically using the\u00a0<strong>Auto-Increment Hurdle ID<\/strong><strong> function<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/CBH-Set-Auto-Increment.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-440\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/CBH-Set-Auto-Increment.png\" alt=\"CBH Set Auto Increment\" width=\"346\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s on by default and I can&#8217;t see any reason to turn it off, so let&#8217;s just hit\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Next<\/strong> <\/span>which takes us to a quick recap.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/CBH-Done-Menu.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-437\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/CBH-Done-Menu.png\" alt=\"CBH Done Menu\" width=\"345\" height=\"526\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re happy with the settings you&#8217;ve just entered click the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Done<\/strong> <\/span>button to close the menu and activate the Course Builder HUD.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to go back and change something click the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Restart<\/strong> <\/span>button to &#8211; errrr&#8230; \u00a0Restart the process.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m happy, are you happy? \u00a0Then click\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Done<\/strong> <\/span>and we\u00a0can get on to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Building Your First Steeple Course \u2013 The Course Builder HUD\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sin-ventions.com\/?page_id=38\">Course Builder HUD<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just like each course in a sim has to have a unique\u00a0Course ID, each hurdle in a course has to have its own unique\u00a0Hurdle ID.
