To utterly rip off Douglas Adams, Don\u2019t Panic!<\/span> \u00a0<\/strong><\/span>We\u2019ve made this just about as simple as possible, and I\u2019ll go into lots of detail. \u00a0If you run into anything that doesn\u2019t make sense you can contact us in world and we\u2019ll be happy to try and clarify things.<\/p>\n

So first off what makes up a steeple course? \u00a0At a minimum you need one start\/finish line and one hurdle – though that won\u2019t be much of a challenge. \u00a0You will probably also want a score board\u00a0it’s not absolutely necessary.<\/p>\n

For the moment we’re going to concentrate on the hurdles since that’s where most of the work comes in. \u00a0Get the hard parts done first then relax on the veranda with a nice adult beverage, amirite?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start with a very small course to practice with. \u00a0Pick an area about 30 meters square for our practice course and put on the Course Builder HUD.<\/p>\n

“Why is there a course builder HUD? \u00a0Can’t I just dump everything out on the ground and take it from there?” you’re probably asking. \u00a0And yes, you can, but\u00a0at the time of this writing we’ve got 13 different varieties of hurdle in the steeple kit. \u00a0Plus start lines and four variations of score boards. \u00a0It’s kind of a lot of stuff and dumping it out on the ground gets thing cluttered and confusing fast.<\/p>\n

Also the HUD has some handy configuration functions that will help make your\u00a0job easier, and also it’s just damn neat \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
